Casino a Sorbos. Support for Valencian wine
"Casino a Sorbos" is a project we are launching in conjunction with the leading publication in the Valencian wine sector: 5 Barricas. It was created with the goal of raising awareness of and supporting wineries from the D.O. Valencia and Utiel-Requena, as well as indigenous single-vineyard wines, to the 200,000 annual visitors to Casino Cirsa Valencia—56% of whom are international tourists and another 36% are tourists from outside our region.

Since February 2023, we’ve been featuring a different Valencian winery each month. Together with the winery and the fantastic team at 5 Barricas, we design activities centered on the world of wine, such as tastings, raffles for wine tourism experiences, wine-pairing and themed menus, as well as exclusive events to showcase the great wines produced by the outstanding Valencian wine industry.
Each winery showcases its finest wines in our display case—an 8-square-meter space dedicated exclusively to them in the Casino’s lobby.
In addition, a selection of their wines is featured as the “wine of the month” at our three bars, thereby giving their finest wines greater visibility among the general public.

A guide that puts a face to every wine-making project. A publication edited by 5Barricas in collaboration with Ediciones Plaza, which, across its 238 pages, showcases 97 professionals who, day in and day out, are writing the history of Valencian wine.
