A new edition of this Valencian wine tasting in English, to be held on 28 June at 19:00.
Why wine and flamenco at the Casino? What is the success of this Typical Spanish format? It makes sense. 56% of its visitors are foreigners. Therefore “Casino a Sorbos” was started, which each month brings a Valencian winery closer to its visitors with spaces to give visibility to its most representative wines in its reception and bars.
With the “Wine & Flamenco Experience” editions, they go one step further to promote Valencian wines as these tastings are conducted in English. After the tasting, Cirsa Valencia offers a tasting of signature tapas and an exciting flamenco show that thrills and dazzles this foreign audience in equal parts.
Gastronomy and dance, a tribute to the senses that come together next Friday 28th June at 19:00 in the emblematic building on Avenida de Cortes Valencianas.
Miguel Angel Hernández, international sommelier, will oversee guiding the attendees through the universe of testing, smells and textures of the Valencian wines selected for this experience: Mestizaje Blanco from Bodega Mustiguillo, Les Alcusses Tinto from Celler del Roure and finally Cava D.V. Nº1 Brut Nature Eco from Bodega Dominio de la Vega. Then they will enjoy some delicious signature tapas made up of a basket of potato straw with ajoarriero and mousseline of piquillos au gratin; a bite of emmental, tomato jam and Cantabrian anchovy; beetroot toast with sirloin carpaccio and black olive salt; finishing with a mini poppy brioche stuffed with Iberian pork cheek with P.X.
The final touch will be provided by a flamenco music and dance show that will fill the room with authentic passion.
